Welcome to

RYA-logo-affiliated-small New CCYC_burgee PNG 2019

CCYC is proud to host and support Cowes Sailability Club, a registered charity that provides recreational boating and sailing opportunities for adults and children with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and debilitating medical conditions.

Every Monday afternoon from April until September, members of Cowes Sailability Club meet at CCYC and embark from the CCYC pontoon on a range of boating and sailing trips.  Throughout the year, Cowes Sailability Club also holds a number of social events at CCYC, including its popular Laying-up Supper and Christmas Party.

Cowes Sailability Club is run entirely by volunteers and received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2010.  New volunteers are always given a very warm welcome and can help on the water, at the shore side and behind the scenes.  If you would like to help with maintaining and crewing the club’s boats, supporting disabled members on trips or undertaking administration, please get in touch.

More information about Cowes Sailability Club is available at www.cowessailability.co.uk
